As I approached their house, I could see that Mark was on the lookout for me, although I was 5 minutes early. I was warmly greeted by Mark, who was smartly dressed in black jeans and shirt. He showed me through to the kitchen and offered me a lager, which was gladly accepted (unbelievably it was a warm day in the UK, an event that hasn't been too frequent in 2024 so far.)
Helen, who had not long returned from work presented herself about 5 minutes after my arrival and we spoke about the formalities of the day. Which look roughly like this:
I will be arriving at Helen's parents house in the morning, to take photos of her and her bridesmaids prior to her arrival at the church.
I will then need to dash to the church, to photograph her arrival and then get myself in position in the church. It is a small church in Ashurstwood, I will then cover the ceremony, do the wedding couple and family and friends shots outside of the church before we all head off to the Crowne Plaza Hotel. There, I will do a couple shoot prior to evening reception. At that I will take photos of the cake cutting as well as capturing the first dance.
The additional brief is for natural, spontaneous shots throughout the day!

Having met each other on the dating site called 'E Harmony,' two years ago. Mark recalls how Helen's profile was the first that he looked at and she was the first person that he contacted.
Within two months they were living together, within three months they were engaged. Mark popped the question in Morocco in January, where instead of providing Helen with a commitment ring, which was all she was expecting, Mark instead proposed the idea of marriage to take place in July! Although shocked, the idea of saying no, never crossed Helen's mind!
The thing that Mark likes most about Helen? Is EVERYTHING!
He believes that ever since they have met, they have found that they have so much in common, and just BLEND together. He says that she is very caring, beautiful and is lovely.
The thing that Helen likes the most about Mark? She says that Mark makes her laugh, A LOT! And the best thing is that they can be their silly selves together. His SILLYNESS is the thing she loves the most about Mark.
I look forward to July 6th to document the start of your FOREVER journey!!
