About Nick

Good with people.
Serious about pictures.

Because the person behind the camera matters too.

Hi, I'm Nick

You don't need to know how to pose.
That's my job.

I've spent years photographing people, particularly dancers, so I understand how small changes in posture, position, light and movement can completely transform a photograph.

When it's time for the photographs you'll hang on your wall, I won't just stand you somewhere picturesque and hope for the best. I'll give you enough direction to make you look fantastic — without forcing you into stiff poses that don't feel like you.

And then I'll get out of the way. Because some of the best wedding photographs can't be posed at all.

How I work

Confident direction.
Then space to be yourselves.

I'm good at gaining rapport quickly. I can organise a group when I need to, make a nervous couple feel comfortable, and disappear into the background when the story is happening without me.

The result is a gallery with both sides of a wedding: crafted portraits and honest moments.

Kind words

Don't just take
my word for it.

“Nick just gelled into the occasion. He got to know the guests, soaked up the atmosphere and grabbed his moments from the sidelines, enabling us to just relax into the day.”
Helen & Mark · Wedding
“Nick has a fantastic eye for the perfect shot… making the dancers feel totally at ease, able to use their own ideas or be guided.”
Diana · Dance photography

Your job is to enjoy the day.
I'll remember what it looked like.
